The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah and the
Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah have expressed their sympathy to the
families of passengers and crew of the missing Malaysia Airlines plane.
"The Raja Permaisuri Agong and I together with the people
would like to take this opportunity to express over heartfelt concern over what
had happened to MAS flight MH370 to Beijing on Saturday," Tuanku Abdul
Halim said when opening the first meeting of the second session of the 13th
Parliament here today.
His Majesty hoped that the family members of the passengers and
crew to remain calm and courageous in enduring the difficult time.
Present were the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Prime Minister Datuk Seri
Najib Tun Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
MAS Flight MH370 went missing en route from Kuala Lumpur to
Beijing after taking off from KLIA at 12.41 am on Saturday. It should have
landed in Beijing at 6.30 am.
