Presiden Jalur Tiga (Jati), Datuk Dr Hasan Ali berhasrat
mengadakan satu perhimpunan secara besar-besaran di Stadium Melawati di sini
bagi membantah penggunaan kalimah Allah di kalangan bukan Islam dalam tempoh
dua minggu lagi.
“Minta anda semua uar-uarkan mengenai perhimpunan ini kepada
saudara-saudara kita. Kita berhimpun untuk mempertahankan martabat dan kesucian
agama Islam,” katanya yang ditemui pemberita pada himpunan bantahan penggunaan
kalimah Allah di Masjid Negeri di sini, Jumaat.
Mengulas mengenai isu penggunaan kalimah Allah oleh bukan Islam
yang ditimbulkan kembali Setiausaha Agung DAP, Lim Guan Eng baru-baru ini,
Hasan berkata beliau tidak nampak rasional kumpulan terbabit mahu menggunakan
kalimah tersebut dalam kitab Bible.
“Kita tidak pernah dicabar sehingga bukan Islam, khususnya orang
Kristian yang mahu menggunakan kalimah ini dalam Bible bahasa Melayu. Sehingga
hari ini, saya tidak nampak rasional dan objektif tujuan mereka,” katanya.
Namun, beliau turut kecewa kerana terdapat sebahagian daripada
umat Islam yang sudah meluluskan atau mengiktiraf bahawa kalimah Allah boleh
digunakan oleh orang bukan Islam.
Jelas beliau, sekiranya penggunaan kalimah Allah oleh golongan
tersebut dibenarkan, maka ia akan memberi kesan kepada keluarga, masyarakat dan
generasi Islam akan datang.
